Biography: Elixabeth D. Tate is an experienced clinician, a guest lecturer, and published author. She is a certified family nurse practitioner with seventeen years experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at George Mason University and worked for many years as a registered nurse in emergency rooms, surgical intensive care units, a burn unit, and surgical and medical wards throughout the country. At the University of California at Los Angeles, she became a nurse practitioner and received a Master’s degree in Nursing. She is a guest lecturer at national nurse practitioner conferences, publishes articles in professional journals, is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American College of Nurse Practitioners.
