Mark Blaeuer
Born: 1954 in Alton, Illinois
Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Blaeuer grew up in Edwardsville. He attended Illinois College in Jacksonville. Between 1977 and 1979 he resided in Lewistown, and worked at Dickson Mounds State Museum. Biography: Mark Blaeuer has a M.A. from the University of Arkansas. He held positions in the fields of archeology and physical anthropology, and was employed for twenty years by the National Park Service. Currently residing near Hot Springs, Arkansas, Blaeuer researches baseball history and writing/translating poetry.
