Pen Name: Connection to Illinois: Batsel lives in Chicago. She received her MFA in Book Arts from Columbia College Chicago in 2016. Biography: Hannah Batsel is an artist and writer who has the unbelievable luck of making books for a living. She began by learning letterpress printing, which is a way of rearranging tiny alphabet blocks into stories and stamping them into paper. A Is for Another Rabbit is her debut picture book.
