Biography: Peggy Rathmann is a children's book author and illustrator. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, she went on to study commercial art at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, fine art at Atelier Lack in Minneapolis, and children's book writing and illustration at Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. Rathmann currently resides in California.
