Bishop Paprocki has played goalie in practices with the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League. He also runs marathons; his current total is eighteen. Among his many Church appointments, Bishop Paprocki is the episcopal advisor for Catholic Athletes for Christ
