Biography: Helen began her career as a High school health teacher in Evanston, Ill., then went on to Monticello College in Alton, an instructor in biology. Helen then went to National College of Education, in Evanston, as a professor of life sciences until her retirement. Helen also was a collaborator for several educational film companies as well as a consultant for Childrens Press Science Encyclopedia.
