Biography: Helen began her career as a High school health teacher in Evanston, Ill., then went on to Monticello College in Alton, Ill.as an instructor in biology. Helen then went to National College of Education, in Evanston, as a professor of life sciences until her retirement. Helen also was a collaborator for several educational film companies as well as a consultant for Childrens Press Science Encyclopedia.
