Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Belogorskaya moved to Springfield in 1994 and still resides there today. Biography: Tatyana Belogorskaya is originally from Leningrad (St. Petersburg, Russia) , librarian by profession, PhD in education. Since 1994 she lives in the U.S., state of Illinois. The author of prose, poetry, reviews. Tatyana has books in Russian and American publications such as 'Panorama' almanac, 'Vestnik' magazine , 'Arena', 'Slavic and East European Journal' and others. She has published essays devoted to great representatives of Russian culture – A.Radischev, V.Bazhenov, E.Rostopchina, N.Taffi, A.Chekhov... In 2010 she published a book 'Portraits in the interior of the time' based on personal communication with the writer E.Shvartz and members of his family.
