Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Francisco was born in East St. Louis, Illinois and lived in Chicago for a seven years. Biography: Francisco was an actor in New York City from 1952-54, Chicago from 1955-62, and Hollywood from 1962-67. He was the News Director at WPAT-Radio in New York City from 1967-76.When there was a threat to raze Radio City Music Hall, Francisco wanted to preserve it as a theatrical landmark. It prompted him to rush his work on his first published book, ''The Radio City Music Hall: An Affectionate History of the World's Greatest Theater''.
