Connection to Illinois: I was born in Evanston, Illinois and lived in various towns in the near suburbs of Chicago. Presently I live in Hoffman Estates, Illinois I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University. After my schooling, I taught for 34 years at Indian Trail Junior High School in Addison, Illinois.

Biography: I am a retired teacher. Throughout my years in education I always had a passion to write. When my grandchildren were born, I created children stories. After positive field studies with elementary school children, I decided to go professional. I enjoy reading, gardening, working out, and seeing my grandchildren. Even though I'm retired, I still coach at the high school level. This and writing children's stories help keep my wits sharp and a smile on my face.
