Biography: Richard Schneirov received his Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1984. He has taught history at Indiana State University since 1989 and has lectured in Germany and China. His teaching and research interests include labor and working-class history, American politics, the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, and the 1960s counterculture and protest movements.
