In the 1950s and 1960s east Rogers Park was an Irish and Jewish enclave housing many European immigrants who arrived after World War II. After his Vietnam tour of duty he enrolled into Colorado College, a small liberal arts college in Colorado Springs. While at Colorado College he began painting and writing about his Vietnam Experiences. From Chicago to Vietnam is Mr. Duffy's first book.
