Connection to Illinois: I moved from Lagos Nigeria to Aurora, IL. in 1992. I graduated from West Aurora High School in 1995. I graduated from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. in 2000 and now reside in Montgomery, IL.

Biography: Angela Nwalie obtained her B.S. Degree in Human Resource Management from Northern Illinois University. She is currently studying nursing at Waubonsee Community College. She served as the Student Trustee at Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove, IL. 2019-2020. She was Waubonsee Community College's Lincoln Laureate nominee for fall 2019 and ICCTA Gigi Campbell Student Trustee Nominee for Spring 2020. She wrote 'One student's experience at Waubonsee' the article was published in the Daily Herald and Kendallcountynow in May, 2020. The author enjoys pancake and library dates with her sons, traveling, watching football, dancing and chocolate.
