Biography: Wood was a writer. She worked as editor and bibliographer for the American Cancer Society and is a former editor for ''Drug Therapy'' magazine. She is also the author of three screenplays. Her book ''Twins'' was adapted into a film entitled ''Dead Ringers'' which was directed by David Cronenberg and starred Jeremy Irons and her book 'Doll's Eyes' was also adapted for the screen under the title, 'In Dreams'.
