Biography: Ebbeler is an illustrator and artist. He has been creating art for children for nearly a decade. His work spans a wide range of media from illustration to paper engineering, large-scale murals, puppets, and even performance arts. And his whimsical sense of humor shines through in his illustrations, especially his quirky characters. He lives in Chicago with his wife Eileen, where he works as an illustrator and makes school visits to take children through the creative process of the picture book. Ebbeler has worked on a variety of projects including illustrations for magazines, CD covers, and book covers as well as paper engineering for pop-up books, creating large scale murals for schools and churches, and sculpting puppets and preforming for several marionette theaters.
