Biographical and Professional Information

Armistead has had a lifelong passion for writing. She earned her MFA in creative writing from the Stonecoast program at the University of Southern Maine and has written for radio, newspapers and magazines including ''The Chicago Tribune'', ''Shape'' Magazine, ''Body & Soul'' Magazine, ''Christian Science Monitor'', and ''Chicken Soup for Every Mom’s Soul'' just to name a few. ''Being Henry David'' is her first young adult novel. Armistead also works at an independent book store, is a voice-over actress and sings semi-professionally. She currently resides in a Boston suburb.
