Connection to Illinois: Vicki grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Biography: Vicki Quade is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in numerous publications, including 'Newsweek', 'The Reader', 'Chicago Sun-Times', and 'Chicago Tribune'. She is also one of the playwrights and a producer in Chicago of the long-running comedy hit, 'Late Nite Catechism.' Vicki's play has been produced in numerous cities throughout the country, and earlier this year was honored with an LA Drama Critic's award for best performance by a lead actor.In 1999, Quade contributed to the Chicago Sun-Times millennium book, ''20th Century Chicago: 100 Years, 100 Voices''. She also wrote the biography, ''I Remember Bob Collins'', about the WGN-Radio legend who was killed in a plane crash in February 2000.
