Biography: As a child, Wendy didn't like reading. It was not until adulthood that she was diagnosed with dyslexia. It was when she picked up a historical romance book in high school that she fell in love with reading. After high school, she lived in Germany for eighteen months, then Washington State for five years. Moving back home, she met her husband at a picnic. Since he was from St. Louis, they met in Springfield and eventually moved there.
