Biography: Michael Lee Johnson is a poet and freelance writer from Itasca, Illinois. He spent 10 years in Canada during the Vietnam War era. Johnson has been published in over 22 countries including the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Nigeria, India, and the United Kingdom. ''The Lost American'' is about one man’s journey into exile over the Vietnam War many years ago, his struggle, his survival, his road to recovery and strength manifesting itself through his prose and poems. The author is also editor/publisher of four poetry sites all of which can be found at his website: http://poetryman.mysite.com/. Johnson has written several chapbooks including ''From Which Place the Morning''. He has been published in over 365 publications.
