Biography: Joe Brown was an attorney in Chicago for fifty years before embarking on a writing career at age 70. He started writing these stories for his children in the 1960s. After retiring he began, again, writing about Marceau’s adventures. Now 75, he has completed the four-book series that has taken more than forty years to write.
