Biography: Sue Telingator was born in Chicago and lived there until she was 18 when she went away to college in Now York City. She retuned in 1984, after receiving her BA and lived there until 1997 when she joined the Peace Corps. She then went back to Chicago in 1999 and pursued graduate school. She moved to Washington DC in 2003. While she was in Illinois, Telingator ghostwrote several books, wrote regularly for the Chicago Tribune and wrote a book specifically on Illinois entitled, ''The Chicago Arts Guide'' with her co-author, June Skinner Sawyers.
