Biography: Connie LaDon Brubaker has always been passionate about the written word. Her love of language led her into a career in education, teaching secondary English. After many years in the classroom, she extended her work in education into other arenas. She served as the coordinator for a ''Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology'' project, a federal grant project managed by the Illinois Community College Board. Other experience in the education field included development work for GED Illinois Online and Basic Skills Test Preparation Online, projects coordinated in part by Western Illinois University. Other work includes coordinating enrichment curriculum for local elementary classrooms.
