Connection to Illinois: Davis lives in the grassy plains of central Illinois.

Biography: Before Katlin Davis published her first children's book, she was working on her Master of Fine Art degree, while running a small portrait studio in her hometown. After completing her Master of Fine Art degree in the summer of 2022, she continued to grow in her craft and won a platinum medal for her outstanding photography works. She is internationally recognized for her photography and hopes one day to be internationally recognized for her lovable children's book characters, inspired by her two kids.
