Biographical and Professional Information

Tom Watson was a Political Science major in college. He worked for US Senator John Glenn and as a political speechwriter. He has also been a freelance advertiser and marketer. This experience helped him develop the unique, story-telling narrative style of the Stick Dog books. His time in politics made him realize it's a lot more fun and rewarding to write stories for kids than write speeches for grown-ups.
