Connection to Illinois: Argenta was born, raised, and still lives in Springfield. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and currently works at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library.

Biography: Kregg Argenta has a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois. He worked at Lincoln Library (Springfield's public library) from 1993 to 2005, the Supreme Court of Illinois library from 2008 to 2014, the Illinois State Library from 2014 to 2016 and started working at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in 2016.
