Biography: Maureen Tan is a project advisor, senior technical writer, and public affairs specialist with a strong background in science/technology, healthcare, constituent education, and crisis communications. Before beginning her consulting practice, she worked for the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and also served as a Public Affairs Officer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.She is the author of numerous articles, four fiction novels, and several short stories.
