Biography: Before becoming a full-time writer, Rick Kaempfer was a nationally recognized radio producer in Chicago for Steve Dahl & Garry Meier and John Records Landecker. He also writes a a monthly media column for the ''Illinois Entertainer'', a daily blog, and is the editor-in-chief of the Cubs website Just One Bad Century. In 2011, he co-founded ''Eckhartz Press'', a boutique publishing company in Chicago, with David Stern.
