Biographical and Professional Information

Blue's book is a novelization of 34 years of research. She is the only person that interviewed the leader of the lynch mob, one of the Black men involved and others that were directly involved in the initial investigation in 1955. Given the depth of her investigation, she is considered a leading authority on the case and was asked to assist the FBI in the 2004 investigation into Carolyn Bryant's involvement in the lynching.
