Biography: Maureen Tolman Flannery, author of ''Secret of the Rising Up: Poems of Mexico'', and ''Remembered into Lif''e, has recently released her first anthology, ''Knowing Stones: Poems of Exotic Places''. Born and raised on a Wyoming ranch, she works for a surgeon in Chicago, where she lives with her actor husband Dan and their four children. Maureen is an award-winning poet whose work has been selected for inclusion in thirty anthologies and over seventy-five literary and poetry journals, including ''Atlantic R''eview, ''Blue Mesa Re''view, ''Birmingham Poetry Review'', ''Evansville Review'', ''Karamu'', ''Owen Wister Review'', ''Pinyon Poetry'', ''spelunker flophouse'', and ''Green Hill Literary Lantern''.
