Biography: David Heinzmann is a jounalist and novelist who has written about crime in Chicago for more than a decade at the ''Chicago Tribune''. He started his journalism career with the Associated Press in Baltimore and Atlanta and also worked at the ''Daily Southtown'' in Chicago's gritty south suburbs before joining the Tribune. He has appeared numerous times on national news outlets including CNN, National Public Radio, MSNBC, and NBC's Dateline.
