Biographical and Professional Information

Charles "Peanut" Tillman is a retired American football cornerback. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played for the Bears for twelve years and went on to play for the Carolina Panthers in 2015 before retiring in 2016.After his second-youngest daughter was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, which resulted in a heart transplant, Tillman created the Cornerstone Foundation mission to help improve the lives of critically and chronically ill children throughout Chicago. The proceeds from the Snowy Bear series of books he co-authored with TC LiFonti help support the Foundation.
