Biography: Laura Crawford was a longtime dedicated teacher and reading specialist. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She loved science and social studies, especially American history and animals and one of her passions was writing children's books. As a second and third grade teacher at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School for 20 years, Laura enjoyed exploring these subjects with her students.
