Connection to Illinois: Weirather grew up in Hamilton, Illinois and lived there until 1976. In 1971 and 1972, She attended Robert Morris College in Carthage.

Biography: Weirather worked in the children’s ministry at Faith Family Church and the US Postal Service in Keokuk, Iowa for over twenty years each. After working for the US Postal Service, she became a licensed para-educator for the Keokuk Community School District.
