Biography: Robert McDonald has lived in Chicago for over 20 years. He works at an independent bookstore. McDonald is an avid reader, and a widely-published poet. His reviews and reportage have appeared in Windy City Times, Publishers Weekly, Stagebill, and the Chicago Reader, and he was awarded a 2009 Illinois Arts Council Literary award for a poem appearing in Court Green. He lives with his partner in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. A native of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, McDonald is a graduate of Michigan State University.
