Biography: Hesslau Magrady has taught English for 18 years. Presently, she teaches at Fenwick High School in Oak Park but has also taught at Proviso East High School in Maywood and St. Bernardine School in Forest Park. She and earned her bachelor’s degree from Dominican University and master’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University.Hesslau Magrady's book ''Lines-'' was selected as a 2016 finalist in the Soon to Be Famous Illinois Author Project. She has also published a chapbook of poems, ''One Thing Leads to Another''.
