Kathi Baron was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, grew up in Orrville, Ohio. She earned an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College, an MS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a BS in Occupational Therapy from Ohio State University.
