Biographical and Professional Information

Mr. Rentschler was twice a Republican U.S. Senate candidate, in 1960 and 1970, unsuccessful both times. In 1968, he headed the winning re-election campaign for Richard Nixon in Illinois. After the election, Mr. Rentschler served as a special advisor to President Nixon's National Program for Voluntary Action in Washington, DC.
