Renee Rosen is best known for novels about Chicago's historical past. A former advertising copywriter, she has also written a young adult novel and contributed articles to several magazines and newspapers including Chicago Magazine and The Chicago Tribune.

Rosen was raised in Akron, Ohio and is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC.
