Biographical and Professional Information

Nancy Gee is a graduate of Drake University. Her first picture book, The Secret Drawer, is based on a true story based on an unknown animal that got into her husband's sock drawer only to be discovered by the family cat. The unknown animal is later learned to be a flying squirrel. In the book, Gee educates children on what makes the flying squirrel a special creature and how kindness to animals is returned in unexpected ways.
