Muriel Canfield is a free-lance writer, who has four books published and a variety of articles in magazines. She has a degree in English Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Canfield has a heart for battered women. Besides doing volunteer counseling at a battered women's shelter, she has co facilitated a support group and served as a court advocate for battered women.
