Biographical and Professional Information

Michael began his career as an accountant in 1989 and worked a few years in the field before he recalled a conversation with a small town friend who worked as a special agent for the State of Illinois. Looking for adventure as well as a job with a purpose, Michael was appointed to a special agent position with the United States Department of Justice and has been working in the law enforcement field since 1991. Michael uses his unique experiences to craft stories that have a basis of truth in the legal system without the courtroom minutia. Michael is also able to create characters, including serial killers that are authentic and based on actual experiences in the field of law enforcement.
