Biographical and Professional Information

Price is a painter and author. She graduated from Stanford University and returned to Chicago to paint before moving to Europe for several decades. She began her writing career by drawing on her sartistic talents to write several children's books. She also worked in television, acted in regional theater, and founded the Centre d'Art de la Salle, in Brittany, France, in 1960. A Gift from Brittany is her memoir.

Marjorie Price lives and works as a painter and author in New York City.
