Kevin DuJan is a gay conservative author who was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but chose to make his home in Chicago, Illinois where he writes about local government corruption, politics, and LGBTQAI issues. He covers First Amendment and government transparency controversies, focusing on government violations of the Illinois Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act in particular. He is an investigative satirist who used materials obtained from FOIA requests and observations of local board meetings and controversies as material for his book, which is set in Illinois and bridges the worlds of mystery and adventure with political science and public activism.
He holds a degree in International Relations and Political Science and has appeared on numerous national TV and radio programs discussing American politics. DuJan has been an editor, proofreader, and ghostwriter in addition to publishing his own works.
