Biographical and Professional Information

Karen Bellamy attended Chicago State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, her Masters Degrees - one in Early Childhood Education and the other in Reading a Type 10 Reading Specialist, and a nominee into Who's Who Among American Teachers. She is a retired educator and taught in the public school system for 34 years. Her love for reading is a gift she desires to pass on to children of all ages. She wants children to visualize the books coming to life as they read while increasing their vocabulary through reading.
