Illinois Connection

Durango attend the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where she received degrees in Latin American Studies and Political Science. She now lives in Ottawa, Illinois.

Julia Durango is the author of picture books, adventure novels, and poetry for kids of all ages. In addition to her writing Julia is also a school librarian.
