Swanson is the senior legal scholar, specializing in constitutional law and the Supreme Court, at the Heritage Foundation, a think tank located in Washington, D.C. He serves on the advisory council of the Ford’s Theatre Society and has also served on the advisory board of the Ford’s Theatre Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Campaign and on the advisory committee of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.
