Biographical and Professional Information

The author attended Northwestern University for a time and then returned to Chicago where he co-hosted with NPR producer Gary Covino a radio program called "The Wild Room" on WBEZ Chicago Public Radio. In 1995, he became host and producer of the award-winning This American Life program which is syndicated nationally by Public Radio International.
