Logan has produced a remarkable series of photographs in her book The Artist Portrait Series-Images of Contemporary African-American Artists. Some of those who have posed for Fern are famous: Maya Angelou, Gordon Parks, Alvin Ailey, Ed Bradley and Arthur Ashe.
