Illinois Connection

I am a lifelong Chicagoan, fourth generation born and raised. My book, "Images of America: Hawthorne Works," co-authored with Catherine Lantz, tells the story of the huge Western Electric manufacturing complex that stood in Cicero, Illinois from 1905 to 1986.

Biographical and Professional Information

Graduate of Roosevelt University (BA History with Honors 1997) and Dominican University (MLIS 2009). A former Special Eduaction assistant and teacher, I am now a Reference Librarian at Morton College in Cicero. The library also operates the Hawthorne Works Museum.
