Biographical and Professional Information
Kenney has worked previously as journalist and editor, college English professor, arts administrator, grants and technical writer, and non-profit executive. Dr. Kenney holds a Ph.D. in English from Loyola University of Chicago, and has published two books, The Remarkable Case of Dorothy L. Sayers and Thurber’s Anatomy of Confusion. She has also written a play about Sayers entitled Dorothy L, which has been produced in England and the U.S., as well as numerous articles, chapters in books, and book reviews. She is a member of the Society of Midland Authors.
Kenney currently runs her own consulting firm, Proudfoot Productions, which provides a wide variety of writing and editorial services, specializing in grant writing and the writing of memoir/family histories.
