Biographical and Professional Information

Brendhan Garland was 15 years old when he wrote his first book. From an early age, Garland longed to visit Australia, the home of his childhood TV hero Steve Irwin, the wildlife warrior star of The Crocodile Hunter series. When Irwin died suddenly in a diving accident, Garland, then 10 years old, suffered deeply. In Emos Great Story, Garland shares his conviction that you should keep pursuing your dream no matter what life throws at you. Emo meets new friends, gains new understanding, and learns that a dream may come true when it s least expected.
